    KODAK 4400 CAROUSEL SLIDE PROJECTOR

Posted by Sandi Cook on 12th Aug 2025

Perfect! I needed a carousel slide projector and a Super8/8mm projector for a documentary shoot. Both vintage and refurbished, I was a little nervous ordering online on a short deadline. I had no time for anything to go wrong or the production would have been held up. Rebecca was very helpful in the process. I received the projectors on time and in great condition. They were securely packed in their boxes and they worked as promised. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

Looks like it was either upgraded from a 4400 to an Ektagraphic III or maybe the Ektagraphic III case was used on a 4400 chasis. Im not sure.

    Kodak Slide Projector

Posted by Tom Budlong on 20th Mar 2025

If ever you have critically examined a vintage Kodak slide projector, you found it full of weird-shaped mechanisms, sliders, springs, Complicated plastic shapes and hidden other contraptions to make the thing work. (This thing was invented before electrons were discovered.) I dropped mine on the floor from about four feet. It showed no damage to the outside (sturdy construction), but the innards had given up. I found Porter, sent it to them for repair, as a long shot. In a week or so came back a working version. Amazing. Porter claims to be able to fix these things. Believe them. Now I can play with the collection of slides that I have accumulated. Thank You Porter.
