Product Description - The handheld DS4208-SR provides high performance affordable 2D imaging, delivering blazing laser-quality speed on both 1D and 2D bar codes displayed on paper labels and the electronic displays on mobile phones, tablets and more, allowing you to accommodate 2D bar codes without sacrificing scanning quality or performance.
Users never need to take time to align the bar code with the scanner or pause between scans. And since you can capture bar codes printed on paper labels or displayed on the screen of a mobile phone, retailers can accommodate customers who download mobile coupons, mobile loyalty cards and more. You get true point-and-shoot first time scanning simplicity on even damaged and poorly printed bar codes; and a durable design for all day everyday reliability - all at an affordable price.
Scanner, Cradle and USB cable
Just connected it via USB cable and let it install. Was functioning within a minute of hooking it up. Scans my small 2D barcodes without a problem. Well made and easy to use. I did scan several different types of barcodes (different symbologies) without a skip. The red spotting dot really helps locate the barcode for easy reading. Little or no training will be needed for end user, point and scan. I will really be testing it once I install it on the shop floor, but I do not for see any problems. I have installed many different types of scanners in different applications and this one stands up to the best.
